Generic Allegra(Generic name: Fexofenadine)
Allegra Drug Info
Allegra Drug Uses: Allegra is an antihistamine that reduces the natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Allegra is used to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever) in adults and children. Allegra is also used to treat skin itching and hives caused by a condition called chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children.
How to Use Allegra: Take this medication exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take the medication in larger amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Take Allegra with a full glass of water. Do not use any other type of liquid. Shake the oral suspension (liquid) well just before you measure a dose. To be sure you get the correct dose, measure the liquid with a marked measuring spoon or medicine cup, not with a regular table spoon. If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist for one.
Allegra Precautions: Do not use this medication if you are allergic to fexofenadine. Before using Allegra, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have kidney disease. You may not be able to use fexofenadine, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special tests during treatment. It is not known whether Allegra passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Fexofenadine tablets and capsules may be used to treat seasonal allergy symptoms in children who are at least 6 years old. Allegra oral suspension (liquid) may be used in children ages 2 through 11. When treating chronic idiopathic urticaria, the liquid may be used in children as young as 2 months old.
Allegra Drug Interactions: Fruit juices and certain antacids can make it harder for your body to absorb Allegra. Do not take fexofenadine with fruit juice (such as apple, orange, or grapefruit). Do not take an antacid that contains aluminum or magnesium within 15 minutes before or after you take fexofenadine. This includes Rolaids, Maalox, Mylanta, Milk of Magnesia, Pepcid Complete, and others.
Allegra Possible Side Effects: Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop taking Allegra and call your doctor at once if you have fever, chills, body aches, cough, or other flu symptoms.
Allegra Overdose: Seek emergency medical attention immediately if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of Allegra overdose include: dry mouth, dizziness, or drowsiness.
Allegra Storage: Store Allegra at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Avoid excessive heat. Avoid freezing. Keep out of the reach of children. Dispense of this medicine in a tight, light-resistant container. Do not store Allegra in the bathroom.
Allegra Missed Dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Highlights
Prozac Fluoxetine is used to treat depression, bulimia (an eating disorder), obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD), and severe symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (premenstrual dysphoric disorder-PMDD). This medication works by helping to restore the balance of certain natural chemicals in the brain.
Aphthasol Aphthasol (Amlexanox) is used to treat ulcers of the mouth called aphthous ulcers or canker sores. It decreases the time ulcers take to heal. Because amlexanox decreases the healing time, it also decreases the pain you feel.
Migraine A migraine headache is a severe pain on one, or both, sides of the head. They occur mostly in the front, around the temples or behind one eye or ear. Besides pain, you may experience nausea, vomiting, and be very sensitive to light and sound. Migraines can occur at any time of the day.
60% of women with these headaches have attacks associated with their menstrual cycle, indicating a link between female hormone changes and migraines. They typically occur in association with drops or fluctuations in estrogen levels. Some women get migraines for the first time when taking birth control pills, further implicating the role of hormones.
A recent study determined that symptoms occur predominantly before menopause, and that women who suffer from discomfort triggered by premenstrual progesterone loss, often benefit from cyclic progesterone administration.
